It got to sort of really high levels.
And then we're having competitions about like...
in the season, who would get more assists and all of that.
So I would give them a bit of stick and see and just concentrate on keeping clean sheets first rather than doing all the fancy stuff.
But to be fair, Robbo and Trent, both full-backs, bombing forward, getting crosses in the box.
But at the same time, you know what Robbo's like.
He's as honest as his days long, really.
He'd keep working and he'd be fighting and he'd defend and he's up, he's back, he's down.
So he was an all-in sort of player and demanded that from everybody else as well.
So, yeah, I totally agree with what you're seeing in terms of he's got to be up there with one of the greatest full-backs ever for Liverpool, for sure.
Yeah, I always felt as though Robbo would sort of rise to the occasion in big games and things like that against top players, really good wingers.
It's not easy in the Premier League with the amount of good wingers there is, you know, how fast they are, how skillful they are, so...
He came up with some big challenges, but I always felt with Robbo, he loved the challenge.
He loved the big challenge.
He loved playing against top players and challenging himself.
And that's when I go back to that sort of beginning when it wasn't quite smooth for him and he had to work on things.
I can remember Jurgen and staff working a lot on maybe like the 1v1 stuff defensively.
I think that was one of the areas where
Jurgen needed probably from the beginning to work on to get the trust because going forward Robbo was like you see he was flying up he was crossing it was I think he'll probably tell you better than me but if I can remember rightly it was that 1v1 defending
that he needed to work on and in that period he probably got to do that more when he wasn't playing, which then when he came in would have helped him massively.
