But then to walk into Madison Square Garden, to see all these dogs prance around, and the people who are holders and owners and breeders, they all wear ill-fitting tuxedos, and they all sit and they cheer.
And I go, and there's something so intoxicating about specific passion.
And so you see the people who are there
who are coming from all over America, and to be able to perform at Madison Square Garden is such a treat and an exciting thing to see.
I still don't fully understand the rules of how you win the Westminster Dog Show, but to be a part of it, to watch it, to cheer it on, it's such a New York experience.
We actually, the first time I think I went,
I hosted a show called The Opposition that filmed out of the Penn Hotel.
It was right next to Madison Square Garden.
And so our offices were in this Penn Hotel, which was not a good hotel.
It was a cheap hotel next to Penn Station.
This hotel was so bad.
It was a TV studio that like Maury used to be at, we filmed at.
This hotel was so decrepit and old.
I was watching an Errol Morris documentary about old CIA mind control tests that followed a person who got like drugged with LSD and then committed suicide.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And jumped out a window.
And as I was watching, I was like, oh, that was at this hotel.
Yes.
Yeah.
Yes, that all took place at this hotel, this weird, strange hotel that also happened to be next to Madison Square Garden, which also means if you're there for the dog show, you're probably staying at this hotel.
