Kevin Abrams is a guy who's been part of the front office forever.
He did the contracts.
A lot of the contract negotiation when I first started, that has since been turned over to a new group, Ed Triggs.
Really, Charles Tish is involved in there.
But once upon a time, Kevin Abrams seems to be destined to be this team's general manager.
under Jerry Reese, then Dave Gettleman, but things kind of went sideways for the organization.
That became impossible.
And then all of a sudden, Joe Shane was brought in here.
Kevin Abrams was actually the assistant general manager for 20 years.
20 years.
That's a long time.
Now, he was in a role, kind of, I guess, even got more on the maybe business side in recent years.
But
You know, seeing him leave, also a major change.
And a lot of people were, I got some calls this morning, were surprised that he was let go.
But hey, you know, it probably was time.
And we knew change was coming.
And that one, I think, was made.
Any other changes to most of the front office, if there are changes, I think they're going to come after the draft.
Kevin Abrams wasn't that involved at this point in personnel.
