So the cultural geography of it.
But before we leave the wettest place, Kawaii, Hawaii, part of the USA, an island state, but Kauai is a subset of the state of Hawaii, it's also an island, it's also a very wet place, vying with Ma Sinrem for the title of wettest place.
Mount Wale is
Wayale on Kauai, where I've actually been.
I visited Mount Wale.
receives four hundred and fifty one inches per year over eleven thousand millimeters.
Look up these places again in ArcGIS Online or Google Maps or Google Earth.
Note that Mount Waleele is on an island, while Ma Sinrem, India lies on the southern part of a very large continent, of course Asia.
They are united though through their similar rainfall regimes.
Now we've talked about two places that vie for the wettest title.
What about the driest?
There's a couple of candidates, but it's largely believed that, you know, when you hi all these things are complicated when you get a little bit more detailed, like all in all things in geography and other subjects, the more you dig, the more fascinating it becomes.
