He is scanning around, making sure that people aren't all around him.

He's talked about that, that he feels like there's people behind him at all times.

To watch his eyes scan around like that and also play high-level golf when in Houston, when he is dealing with that, I think there's a tremendous amount of mental toughness that's required from Gary Woodland.

Not to state the obvious, but...

Playing championship golf is stressful enough.

Being genuinely terrified about having people behind you as you're trying to hit shots is a whole different level of commitment that's required.

And I don't know what you guys...

if your experience has been the same as mine, but I feel like athletes have taken a much different approach and specifically golfers and, and being more open over the last five to 10 years than 20, 25 years ago, even with things like, have you thought about winning this major?

And I feel like we have more guys now who are like, yes, I've thought about it.

Like it would be amazing versus I feel like there was just a lot more deflection in previous decades.

I don't know if you have found that experience to be true, but,

I think Jordan Spieth's been a great example of that.

He's been very open with his struggles with his golf game.

Not his mental game, but just over the last five years, I think Jordan's kind of let people in on, yeah, I'm going through it.

I'm trying to figure it out.

And a lot of other golfers probably historically would deflect in that position.

And I think it does tie in with Gary Woodland being more open with his mental health and how he struggled to handle PTSD issues.

And there's probably a pretty powerful lesson in there that you play better golf when you're comfortable, as Andy, you touched on.

So I don't know if you guys think that's true, but that's something that's been rummaging around in my head the last like five years.

It feels like golfers talk about winning majors differently than they used to.
