This is what to aim for.

If we need to, we still had time to give people a call back and give them a redirection or Zoom with them or whatever.

But we had to be much more proactive on the front end than we had been before.

i try to reassure people like we're pretty good at our job if you're reading for this role you're probably going to do a good job with it whether or not that means you're right in terms of getting it over the finish line

is a whole bunch of factors that nobody can really even quantify.

Right, right.

So to just really, and it's very easy to say because I do what I do, but like you really just have to let that part of it go because then it's the creative part.

Like the young woman who was reading for Team Beck, fantastic actor.

Her instrument just didn't fit suit.

Yeah.

And the kids we had to let go for the teens.

yeah so like there's i mean there are plenty of times where we go into things being like oh we know who's going to get it and then you see it and you go yeah look what they brought to it look what they're doing with it that we didn't know that they had and how exciting that is uh that's the both the the scary and the fun part of our job yeah uh is when that comes together it's just so exciting yeah like i love that

When we were in the room with producers and directors, if somebody would mess the tiniest little thing up, somebody would say something, oh, they're not great with words or whatever garbage, and it made me insane.

Or like, I wish they had done this.

I'm like, oh, you know what?
