I started in production before that.
I was in production for quite a while and then got to that point where I realized that was not going to be it forever.
Sure.
A friend of mine was killed and it was that real wake-up call of like,
Life's short.
Do I want to do this forever?
What do I want to do to honor her?
And I really stood back, took a few months and went, okay.
Working in production, you get to see everything, which is great.
And I thought, all right, casting and editing and the whole post process looked really interesting.
And I'd sort of given myself a drop dead date.
And that date, the only casting directors I knew posted that they needed somebody and hired me.
So I shifted gears.
The first big thing I worked on was the Polar Express.
Oh, wow.
Which is such a cool thing to have my name on it.
It was motion capture.
Yeah.
It was the first motion capture.
