I ended up being a drama major.

Okay.

But again, like, I was just taking the classes for fun and then finally one of my teachers said, you know, you've already completed the minor.

Maybe you should just go ahead and commit.

But it was really, like, once I took a directing class, I went, oh, I really like this.

Yeah.

Telling people what to do and not having to do it.

Which is, I've made a career out of it.

Yeah.

So that part was great.

But I still didn't know what I wanted to do.

And one of my professors said, have you considered Hollywood, the way you direct on stage?

You kind of need a camera and an editor.

I thought, okay.

My dad had gone to high school with Tommy Lee Jones.

Oh, wow.

Really?

I'd met him once and so I sent a lovely letter.

Didn't think that was ever going to happen.
