And I think, you know, in some ways, we haven't needed to.
Like the social networks we have are at billions and billions of users, you know, or hundreds and hundreds of millions.
You know, you you mentioned Discord and Musically, which you know, musically became TikTok, both really started growing in twenty fifteen.
That was the year that I got to invest in both of them in those early days.
And we had to navigate this question even in twenty fifteen.
Well, we already had Instagram and Facebook and WhatsApp and Twitter and LinkedIn in 2015.
Why would we even need things like Discord musically?
And they both solved a very different problem in our lives.
Discord was great for people who were trying to come together to play games and engage.
Musically was great for people who wanted to actually tell stories and view stories from other people.
So much of Instagram, I used to say, was the back facing camera the back facing camera.
Look at the incredible.
incredible place I'm in or the incredible latte I'm having musically was the I'm just gonna create something.
I'm gonna put some music behind it, do a dance.
Might have my piles of laundry behind me in my room, but because of my dance and because of this song, it's gonna feel like a great creation.
