And then I spent the last many years at Apple.

And then starting this year, I was so excited for what we were doing at Apple, and we were kind of bringing out this new version of Siri, Siri AI.

But at the same time, I was like, we're about at the beginning of a Cambrian explosion of new consumer experiences around AI.

Now's the time I really believed it could happen.

And I felt like in my career I have one more path.

I want to get back on the side of founders.

I want to help founders create incredible companies.

And I thought, you know, at this point, what better firm to do this in the consumer world than Andreys and Horowitz?

And was lucky enough to have known people like Anish for a very, very long time.

and brought me in to to help kind of i get excited about this next wave.

Five years ago is a really interesting time because that was the heart of COVID five or six years ago.

And I like to say in the period of COVID, we realized just how much time we can spend online and where our limits are because we had nothing else to do.

We were on video calls, which normalize video calls.

That used to be kind of a weird thing for someone to propose getting on a video call.

It's become something that makes sense when it makes sense when we can't be physically in person.

We had so much sharing going on.

We saw massive rises in gaming, both mobile gaming, social gaming, where we all play together.

Roblox has been an incredible phenomenon that's continued growing through that.

And we saw so many companies, but I almost say they kind of hit a cap and we realized that we still need time for ourselves in the world.

And as COVID sort of relaxed and people felt more comfortable getting out in the world, we've kind of seen this rebalance.
