I was kind of born into basketball in a sense.
My mom played as well for the Melbourne Tigers.
That's where they met.
I've always been around the game from a very, very early age.
I was playing for my – I was five.
I was in prep when I started playing for a team, and it was my Wembley primary school team in Yarraville.
Right.
That was the first one I remember.
I mean, I don't remember a lot about the game, but, yeah, we were running around.
I remember the coaches were allowed to walk around on the court when you're that age.
So my dad's on the court while we're playing.
So that's the first real memory I have.
But, yeah, ever since then I've always loved it and never looked back.
basketball to grab you specifically the sport the game well I think when I was young it was about the friendships I made like I was and I'm my best friend to this day as a kid I met when I was playing basketball when I was 10 years old so that was the early aspect of it the relationships my best friends at primary school I was playing basketball with every day so getting to do something I love with my best friends was something I always wanted to do and then as I got older I think a lot of it was about
one, those relationships, the places you get to travel.
Basketball is global.
It's everywhere in the world.
And it was just something I had a passion for, you know, and it was never pushed on me by my parents or anyone around me.
It was something that I naturally gravitated to and I always wanted to do it.
So, you know, basketball has been something I've loved ever since I could remember.
