Alright, so I'm feeling really guilty for this and torn between choosing to buy a place with these people or walking away.
More I think about it, the more it makes sense to walk away and cut my losses now before committing to a mortgage.
I, twenty six female, live with my boyfriend, twenty-six male in a small town, and recently his family has moved in with us to help us with our two year old son.
We talked about purchasing a home together and thought it would be a great idea since we could help each other out with bills and raise the baby.
Last time we lived together was a bit rocky, as my boyfriend's family expects a lot from him.
He's the oldest, so this may not come as a surprise.
But he also has three siblings: 14 male, 19 male, and 21 male.
Two of them are grown adults that could step up to help more.
In addition to that, none of his siblings have any children.
When they moved into our current apartment, we offered to cover all the bills still, as long as they covered groceries, and that was a deal.
We wanted them to be able to save money to move into an the new home we'd purchased together.
