But I'll tell you that being able to go to your audience every day, create content for them, connect, see what they like and what they don't like and everything in between is powerful. So do this. Do it every day.

I like it all, and I also think anything you can use as an edge in a really particular... Traditional show business isn't merit-based, whereas social media, if it gets the most likes, it does the best, there's a good chance that it is the best. But in TV and movies, it's subjective, right? You could be perfect for the role, but the lead also has your same energy and kind of look.

And that might get distracting. People will be like, wait, is that the lead? Is that the best friend? So we're going to get someone with darker hair. They're not as good, but what are we going to do? And that can be maddening. And so I think if you have social media followers and it gives you that edge because they know you're going to help publicize it, great. But I'm so glad to have both.
