When I watched it, I was surprised at how much Croatia were able to almost hit them on the counter and sort of probe in that way.

But second half especially, England looked so good going forward.

And that was sort of like, I guess where you can see the imprint that Tuchel's had on it is that I feel like previous under Southgate, England would have took a goal lead and probably just sort of sat back on that or at least like slowed the game down a little bit.

I didn't feel like that last night.

It felt like,

you know two coaches wanted them to sort of press on from there really and of course that England side is one and listen you can say what you want about lads like Madawake and stuff but they're better than like so many players at the World Cup even if you think they're sort of shit relatively in the Premier League so um

having that much attacking talent at their disposal, they should be a team that goes and presses on and is foot on the throat like that.
