I think even in that you see the way the League Cup team plays.
For example, before Diaz comes in where you've got Origi and Minamide popping up with goals all the time.
I think you're kind of seeing almost the under-bubbling of the squad.
You're seeing how high the floor is rather than how high the ceiling could be.
And Diaz takes the ceiling right through the sky, basically.
I really like Stu's shouts of Diamande and Gordon almost as your two wingers that you sign because Gordon, to me, feels meat and potatoes enough, but also the kind of lad who can match Mercurial-level talent
And he'll fight for his life.
I guess when I say Mercurial I'm almost talking like talent level.
So like Ryo Ngamoa to me like watching that goal the week and I was like we've got something really special here.
But there's also going to be ways in which like you need to nullify even through the next few years when you play him you're going to need to nullify some of the things that you can't do in his game.
Like I don't know how good at pressing he is.
I don't know how good at like thinking about defending he is really.
Probably not similar to Ekotike albeit with the benefit of what five or six years on
But then the goal is, if Izak scored that goal, I'd be going, what brilliant Izak goal.
It's so, so top level.
He weirdly became a bit of a building block meat and potatoes player in a way.
Like he was so mad.
Some incredible analogy work in there.
Well done.
I think the message may be bell Harry Wilson again, lads.
