They've still got the slowest engine for now, but they've got no longer the slowest car.

So big objective ticked off.

The upgrade is most importantly done what the team expected.

I asked Mike Crack if it was kind of on the upper end of their expectations.

But he said, no, it's delivered what they expected.

They knew they'd take this performance leap.

The only surprise he said was that they were so far ahead of some of the other teams.

But all they're focused on is just making this car as quick as possible.

So the surprise was that that was quicker than three teams and an Alpine.

But the lap time gain is what they wanted, hoped for.

So yeah, a big, great big box stick.

It's very hard to know because we were speaking to or hearing from Aokimatsu earlier in the weekend, has team boss.

And, you know, he said this whole season for Berman and Ocon hasn't been a fair fight at many occasions because they've had this parts inconsistency problem.

And it was rearing its head again this weekend.

Ocon was very happy that it wasn't happening on his car for once.

He felt like this was only his third weekend with a normal car behaviour.

But for Berman, yeah, he had problems in practice in particular.

That all has a knock on.
