Uh really, really good people.

There there there truly is an Iowa nice.

I've been all over the country, all over the world.

There is a uniqueness to the people of Iowa.

But I think that modern politics, the coin of the realm now, is meeting people about politics in an apolitical fashion.

So that's why the Obama video, we include so much basketball.

Bring him in with the basketball, then talk to him about politics.

Uh I did Ragbry, the Des Moines Register's great annual bike ride across the Iowa.

I did day one.

I did uh 60 miles, the hottest day, the hilliest day, the humidest day.

Uh but there was 40,000 riders out there being able to talk to people, engage with them, and the same with NASCAR.

So part of this um for me is I think that a mistake that too many Democrats have made over the last decade in my state is they have thought about this math problem incorrectly.

They thought we've just got to maximize turnout in the urban areas, Polk County, Johnson County.

But ultimately we're a rule state.

And so you've got to be willing to go into the lines then.

You got to be willing to go into all 99 counties, every one of these mid-sized small communities and go in and talk to them.

And what I've learned representing a really red district is you won't win every single one of them over, but you will win enough to trim the margins.

And every one of those Republicans that we win over is a double vote.
