I've had a handful of conversations even with uh with with some Republicans when I was on Ragbri.
And they said, you know, you don't have my vote, but you I've got a whole lot of respect for you.
And uh in and and certainly I appreciate that.
But what I'll tell you is.
Regardless of where I am in the state of Iowa, urban areas, rural areas, I keep hearing the exact same story.
Which is Iowans are struggling just to keep food on the table, a roof above their head, um, pay their electric bill, and now with this war in Iran, uh be able to put gas in their tank.
I think that the uh a couple of things.
Iowa is we basically hit the bottom.
We're one of three states already seeing our economy contract.
We're basically dead last for every healthcare metric.
Uh just since Ashley Henson's been elected, eight hundred and forty-two healthcare entities have closed in Iowa.
And she's voting for cuts to healthcare.
I mean, 110,000 Iowaans are going to lose their health care outright because of her votes.
Hundred and nineteen thousand islands, seeing their health care premiums double or triple, or horror stories like I've heard, quadruple.
Uh we're we're a state that we were basically the gold standard in public education.
We've precipitously dropped down from the gold standard, now down to the to the bottom half, because of giving private schools public money.
We've got a water quality crisis that's not being addressed.
We've got a cancer crisis.
We're the basically the only state with a growing cancer rate, second highest rate's behind Kentucky.
And now we lead the nation in farm foreclosures, largely driven by the tariffs.
