But this is a fundamentally different state.

And uh and I don't think she was prepared uh for a common sense prairie populist like myself with proven results of being able to win over independence and moderate Republicans.

And we're

We're getting big turnouts, particularly in the rural areas.

Of uh, you know, thirty percent of Iowa voters are independents.

And so these are the kingmakers.

But we're also getting a lot of card-carrying Republicans that have said,

Voted for Trump, voted for Ernst, voted for Grassley, even voted for Henson.

And enough's enough.

Uh we need change.

We need change at the state level and the federal level.

And I think this is a once in a generation opportunity that we've got in Iowa to uh

To not just change the state, but in Trump's first midterm in Iowa, we won three of the four congressional races.

Uh we've got a we got an amazing opportunity here to to change the country just in Iowa.

And I think we're gonna come November, we're gonna do something really special.

The reason why I'm a Democrat and what the Democratic Party means to me is because I I think at its essence it's it's fighting for the little guy.

And so um I'm I'm always reminded of a a quote from JFK where it's, you know.

why do you align politically the way that you do?

Because I believe in looking forward, not back.

because I care about people's uh wages, their jobs, their health care, their schools, uh, their civil rights.
