And he but I think he went into NABJ thinking that he was going to really peel off some black voters in some way.
I I'm not sure that that happened.
I think when you look at you've had Terrence Woodbury on your show often and his research and polling.
When you look at, as Jamel said, there is a swath of Black voters that are with Trump that we're not going to get.
But there is a group of Black voters that are in between.
And then there's a group of Black voters that are always going to be right there on the Democratic side of the ticket.
And then there are a group in the middle that either don't have the information,
Or they they they they need more information.
I think for that group of people, I think they saw Donald Trump and they were like, oh, no, we were reminded of who is we saw who he was.
And I think for a long time, people kind of been hearing it.
And, you know,
It wasn't up close and personal and in our face.
And it was in our face again.
And I think that really motivated a number of those black voters that are in between, not necessarily black voters that were going to necessarily vote for Trump.
They were deciding whether or not they're going to get off the couch, because I feel like the biggest, the biggest sort of battle that we would have is with the couch at one point.
And I believe that Vice President Kamala Harris.
Yeah, but just to wrap it up, but it was at one point, a couple of weeks ago, the big conversation was, are people going to actually turn out the vote?
Are we going to lose this election to the couch, meaning people who weren't going to get out and vote?
And I believe for those people who were like, I don't think I'm really going to vote.
I'm not really feeling it this year.
