This afternoon, Vice President Harris officially secured enough delegate votes to clinch the Democratic presidential nomination. Not only that, but the Harris campaign announced this morning that they had raked in, get this, a whopping $310 million in its July fundraising efforts. That is double what, you know, that other guy did. I'm talking about the former president of the United States. That's double what the political operation raised, that operation raised last month. And what's more, the Washington Post is reporting today that all-star Obama political strategist David Plouffe
has joined her team as a senior advisor. And speaking of the Washington Post, we have someone who wrote an op-ed. We're going to get to Karen Atiyah in just moments. Good news on top of good news. On top of good news, Donald Trump tried to wrest back control of the media narrative with his Kamala isn't black bullshit at the NABJ conference, but clearly he has failed. We have so much to dig into. Unfortunately, I have an unbelievable panel here to help me break it all down. Karen Atiyah is a columnist of the Washington Post and adjunct professor at Columbia University, Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. She wrote a fantastic piece yesterday and we're going to dig into that. And Joteka Edie is the CEO of Full Circle Strategies and the founder of Win With Black Women. the organization that mobilized 45,000 black women onto a single Zoom for Vice President Harris just last week, started this whole commomentum and all of these fundraising efforts and all of these phone calls. And I know I only have you for just a short time here and I want everyone. To know what happened. And so I want to start with you and those infamous comments. I don't even know if I want to get to why he questioned because I hate playing up that whole, you know, she's not black enough. Maybe we'll get to that.
