it started in a church and they can't explain this because they know it doesn't make sense because what they're doing is defending white Christian nationalism and using our government and our taxpayer dollars to do it.
You know about Westboro Baptist Church.
Westboro Baptist Church is a traveling ministry that disrupts funerals.
Funerals are inherently religious services for so many people.
This is a solemn religious experience.
If the person is LGBTQ, they show up to that funeral.
and violate it.
And they've been doing this for over a decade.
I've never heard of the arrests of them.
These people who go to abortion clinics, they're trying to now warp, what is it, the FACES Act, this act that's supposed to be about protecting houses of worship that actually began as a law to protect abortion clinics from white Christian nationalists who used to show up and sometimes get violent and in some cases have killed abortion providers.
and would stand outside and harass women who are trying to go in.
The law that was passed, Liz Winstead is one of the people who co-founded The Daily Show.
She's one of the activists who was there in that fight.
They had to add churches to get it to pass because, you know, you have to make compromises.
So they added churches.
The Injustice Department is trying to now use that law against you guys.
But that law was not about saying that no one can ever protest.
Right.
It's saying if you were you know, if they had tried to burn the church or hurt someone in the church.
