that was it was an outside entity which sort of looked at the city operations from a high high high enough high level perspective so you appreciated the objectives i didn't yes that's what i'm saying like you appreciate objectiveness on the outside expertise it's responding it's not just responsiveness to the public but it's um for information one more item yeah no under more there is one more item uh yeah

I think that's why the two year budget is is important because we go through all this forced trading once every two years.

Difficult process, and we all have our priorities, but year one, or the beginning of year one, we come up with our priorities that we've all agreed to, and then during the course of the next two years, you know, with staff involvement, we stick to that for the most part other than making these minor adjustments here and there, and also keeping in mind unexpected things happen

I think two years ago there was like a sewer pipe that had to be taken care of.

So things happen and as long as we recognize that the top 10 or whatever that we've decided on, that's common sort of aspirations to use your word.

And we work towards that.

So I'm not that concerned that we only did three out of 30 or three out of 15.

It's not so much that, but making sure we stick to the priorities that we outlined with the understanding that things change, priorities change, and we have enough checkpoints during the course of the two years that we can go back and forth, make changes.

I wonder if you could give us like a progress report or a performance evaluation every six months in terms of what was accomplished.

Yeah, yeah, everything.

Otherwise, like I said, we don't publicize the things that did happen, and then we focus on the three things that are on the list.
