And he was immediately that guy from the beginning of the season, and you saw him continue to grow throughout the year in the roles that he was given in that defense.

Again, I'll mention again, he played –

basically middle linebacker for us in our defense a lot of times.

He would play in man coverage.

He'd play the deep safety.

I mean, the versatility he showed this season was very impressive for, to your point, like first year in this defense.

And Oregon's defense is

Very multiple.

They're not showing you the same thing play after play.

You're getting a different look almost every play.

So I think that bodes well for the NFL, right?

He obviously is very bright.

He got the leadership and trust of his teammates immediately, and that'll play well when he gets to the Bears locker room.

I think he ran really fast.

at the combine, and you didn't always see that in coverage.

And so I think the question is, you know, was that just more of a prepared to run really well in the combine and had a good day?

And, you know, is he more of a straight line guy than having to turn your hips and go?

I think that's really the question, right?

When he ran downhill to make a tackle, you saw that speed sometimes, but I don't think you saw it all the time in the passing game.

So I think it's a matter of just translating whatever you can to get him to play a little faster in the pass game.
