I I have a question um and I'm not sure if staff can answer it or maybe Supervisor Umstad could answer it, Madam Chair, if you're okay with that.

Um I the former um Algonquian Heritage Commissioner Alicia Cohen has been made it her life mission the last at least year, maybe longer, to do lectures and in in conjunction with um

uh Thomas Bulch Library and the Black History Committee, um, to basically do lectures about the um soldiers, the black soldiers who actually fought from Loudoun who were from Loudoun County in the area who fought in the American R Revolution.

Um is there anything that recognizes them on our courthouse lawn right now at all?

I don't I do not

Okay.

Um so I guess

Just maybe we can have some conversations about doing that with her assistants at some point to recognize those because there has been so much work that she and some other folks in our community have done to make sure that those stories are told.

And so it makes me a little nervous to just put these plaques out there and not also recognize.

Um and so maybe we can kinda put a pin in that and and have that conversation um should my colleagues be willing at at some point.
