By way of disclosures, um I went to Happy Paws Canine on June first and met with Marcel and Beatrice.

Utum Berog, the applicant, along with Aaron Swisshelm and Anna Ritter of Walsh Caluchi.

Um I wanted to uh share that I will be holding a general town hall on June twenty-fourth from six to seven thirty at the Cascades Library.

Um I am very much looking forward to the Juneteenth celebration this Friday, the March, and then um have been invited

To the Basil Newman Cemetery and Park to share the story about the renaming of that park.

So I'm excited to do that.

I wanted to share that I've been really inspired by the graduations I've attended this year.

Today we were at Broad Run, and then I was at Dominion and Roby last week, and it's just really inspiring.

To see our graduates cross the stage.

And Anthony, if you haven't met him, Anthony Rodriguez, who is interning in my office this summer, graduated from Dominion last week and was one of the speakers on the stage.

And his family story is incredible and interesting.

And I have invited Ant, as they call it

Him at Dominion to actually write the opening of my monthly newsletter next week to share his inspiring family story.

And I will probably also put it on social media.

So I'm really proud of him and hope everyone takes the chance to read about his family.

Violence so far this year, and actually 600 of those um have been in the past two weeks since we were last together.

Um of those there have been during that time there have been also sorry, this year there has also been 186 mass shootings, three hundred and eighty-nine of the deaths um to gun violence were ages 12 to 17, and 105 were children under the age of 11.

Thank um the Loudon uh Abused Women's Shelter for sharing that this is Gun Violence Awareness Month and the um relationship between uh domestic violence and gun violence um in their in their work.
