time-space continuum because you've got so much time.

So I think we can all feel the pull of that.

And I do think, you know, sort of the advocacy for reading, the inclusion of reading in schooling, in post-school education does really matter, how we can make it exciting and fun.

I wonder whether we're getting to the stage where

the traditional book first, film later, whether that is going to be reversed.

One of the ways that we create a pathway into reading is people absolutely love it on screen and then you can entice them, perhaps pick it up.

You go and see Hamnet and you think, oh, that's amazing.

And then you induce people to follow up with the book.

And I do wonder whether we've got to be a little bit more inclusive.

I mean, I think English literature types across ages, eons, have tended to sniff at the most mainstream cultural products of the day.

So what do you mean you're reading a

you know, Dan Brown or Patricia Cornwell.

Why aren't you reading Shakespeare?

Why aren't you reading The Odyssey?
