You know, et cetera, et cetera.

One of the things that's obviously jagged young people's attention is the social media first, book talk, romanticy, that kind of genre.

And whether we've just got to say, well, you know,

All reading is good reading.

Yes, some things will...

some things will pass the test of time and people will still be reading them in 40, 50, 100 years from now.

Many things will not.

But if you're reading something, that's better than reading nothing.

There's some great statistics in the Creative Australia material, which we'll put in the show notes about who's reading.

Actually, Australia in international comparisons comes up not too badly.

It's doing pretty well.

Yay us.

And some of the trends in young people in Australia are better than in other countries.

But what you definitely are seeing is audiobooks getting a major slice.

And, you know, I listen to audiobooks.

I mainly listen to nonfiction audiobooks.

I have listened to some fiction, though.

I did in preparation for seeing the Wuthering Heights movie, listen to Wuthering Heights as an audiobook.
