Getting out of the group is almost like another qualifying stage.

It's making the knockout stages is where you become the bigger talking points for making the round of 32, making the round of 16.

Then I think those are different expectations you could talk about for a lot of these countries where then you've actually made the World Cup, making the knockout stage.

Making the group stage, it's a good start.

Sure, there's a lot to be said with the amount of people who are watching the game.

There's a lot to be said about the money that comes into the federations.

But I think the big picture is now, who are the teams that people talk about most?

And it comes down to the knockout stage.

And I think it relates to what we see in North America, how we value playoffs.

Playoffs is also a big talking point in all the sports that we see in North America, whether it's the NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS.

I see World Cup now going in the direction where the playoff round, the knockout round is where you want to be.

The group stage is definitely something that could be acceptable for maybe 64 teams if that's the case.

But if you don't make it out of the group, then you could definitely lose a lot of credibility.

And I think that's what's going to happen moving forward when you have that many more teams involved in this type of tournament.

Yeah, and I think that's definitely a good thing to see.

When you see those powerhouse teams make it that far, that's going to always be the expectation.

I mean, a team like Germany not making the semifinals is a huge setback and disappointment for a nation of that stature.

Brazil as well.

Brazil certainly had expectations to make the semifinals as well.
