I mean, there's a lot of these teams that historically...

make it that far in the tournament.

It's now having the involvement of many other teams and many other countries.

And I think what that's done is it's really, in some way, brought the world together.

And it's always interesting to see and learn how different countries and followings are now participating in these tournaments, Cape Verde being one of these teams where nobody had had

ever a conversation about a player from Cape Verde.

Now, the goalkeeper is like a star player.

And, you know, I think those are some of the cool things that helps not just the country and federations themselves to evolve as a nation, but also for

you know, technical directors, sporting directors, and club football, they could identify these players at a high level and recruit them and bring them into their environment.

So the exposure piece for me certainly is a big bonus.

And I'm certainly a little bit envious of that because in my playing days, if there were 64 teams, I mean, I'm pretty sure I would have played in a few World Cups and had that exposure.

But I think it's positive where you're growing the game and you're getting the smaller nations involved.

and it continues to help those federations and nations that evolve as a country in itself.

So I love it, but at the end of the day, there's going to be pressure for the big nations, as you mentioned, to make it to the round of quarterfinals or the semifinals.

I mean, Messi, there's probably going to only be one Messi that ever existed in our lifetime.

And it's just amazing to know that this is a guy who could still perform at this level at his age.

You know, it doesn't seem like he's lost a step.

I love it.

I've played against Messi.

I've had a chance to compete with him when he was younger, when he was mobile, when he was covering more ground.
