The show that asks people who have lived through big, dramatic events what it was like.
Hey and welcome back.
So this week I want to talk about school bullies.
And I think it's an interesting topic because it's such a universal topic.
So I never got properly bullied.
I got sort of lightly bullied.
I remember when I was in year ten, I was about sixteen, there were these two guys at school.
And they were nasty.
I remember watching my friend once, he was taking his jumper off and he sort of got his jumper to the point where it was around his eyes so we couldn't see.
And one of these guys just bounted over to him and punched him in the side of the head really hard and he fell over and hit the ground.
He was okay, but I remember looking at him and just being like, God, like why?
Why would you do that?
Those guys just terrorized the school and I I always wondered what had happened to them.
And I think like at one point I actually went looking.
I had this idea I'd go and track down my school bullies and would do a podcast episode, but I couldn't find them.
It it turned out that one of them had actually died uh a few years out of high school, he'd drowned, uh, and the other guy I just couldn't find.
