One of the co founders of the Burning Man Festival, that's right, that iconic desert festival held in Nevada.

He was actually an Urbex explorer back in the nineteen seventies.

So for our subscribers this week, I'm gonna speak with John Law, who is part of a theatre troupe and urban exploration group in nineteen seventies San Francisco called the Suicide Club.

This was full on nineteen seventies counterculture experimentalism.

The kind of scene that eventually forged Burning Man.

So John's gonna explain how this festival grew out of the shenanigans.

That this group used to get up to.
