This is all R&D.
This is what this is all about.
We'll do Saturn's at home, make it the right way, and then we'll go out to the cocktail bar, and then we'll decide which is better.
But see, mine is a riffy-do, and I'm actually taking, Brad, the original recipe of blending,
into mine as well.
So here's what you're gonna do for my cocktail.
First things first, what I thought was really fun with this, because I am gonna be serving this in a cup with crushed ice, is I'm actually gonna rinse my glass with some absinthe, because I feel like the flavor there, it just, it's fun, it's a little funky.
So rinse your glass with absinthe, toss it or shoot it back, it's up to you.
And then into your blender, you're going to add an ounce of gin.
I've been using Fords as a London dry.
I've actually, at first, I wasn't sure if I liked it, but then it actually grew on me.
So an ounce of gin.
Then here's where we're getting a little riffy, right?
A half ounce of rum agricole, which is funky, which is funky fun.
Then three quarters of an ounce of lemon juice, a half ounce of orgeat syrup, a half ounce of passion fruit puree, and then a quarter ounce of falernum.
So you're gonna add that to a blender with about a cup or less of crushed ice.
And you're gonna just blend that until all that ice is completely smooth.
Then what you're gonna do with your absinthe rinsed glass is you're gonna fill it up with crushed ice.
You're going to pour your blender mix right in there.
You can top it with a little bit of more crushed ice if there's room for it.
