So that's an issue.

Number five, which kind of coincides with three, is ingredient quality.

Something like a margarita.

I don't go for the triple sec that's on the bottom shelf.

Sometimes you have to, I get it.

But if you can, go for a good quality orange liqueur.

Or another example is vermouth.

Is it fresh vermouth?

Did it oxidize?

Did you not have it in the fridge?

So the ingredient quality.

Could be at play there.

And then, last thing, which also kind of coincides with the dilution check.

Is your temperature and ice, right?

So again, if you're getting a margarita that's served with, you know, ice from your fridge, which is fine.

I do it all the time, that might not taste as good because there's such a flavor as fridge ice compared to if you're using the Clarice ice machine and you have it.

clean, it's a clear cube, it's gonna keep your drink colder longer rather than, you know, maybe the wet ice that'll dilute it really quickly.

So the temperature of your drink and the ice quality will also change your flavor and experience when you're drinking.

So those are kind of my checklist that I go through.
