more or less of that front and on the northern side of that low where there's still rain involved here for the southeast United States and for the Carolinas, but you can see it not as exciting as what your South Florida, Southwest Florida will be looking at over the next few days, where we're actually getting the southern half of that front that has the enhanced moisture and the side that has the enhanced moisture.

With Arthur, we were a little ahead of schedule when it comes to where we're at with names storms and kind of climatolog uh climatology for the tropics.
First hurricane though typically rolls around by about August 11th.
So we're gonna be, you know, keeping our eyes out for the potential of our next named storm birth.
But otherwise it's looking very like low end chances here, quite literally speaking.
with a ten percent chance that we get birtha out of the system.
Quick check of Saharan Dust, because we always like to check in with the big picture of the Atlantic Basin.
Some light kind of concentrations here rolling into the Caribbean.
Over the next few days, though looking to the middle part of next week where we've got that much better chance of seeing some thicker plumes of dust sliding across the main development region and across the Atlantic basin.
Uh so going back here and also before I jump into things, who always like to check in with those tropical waves as well.
Uh where we've got a handful of them, but of course nothing
too uh you know exciting right now, nothing that the National Hurricane Center is uh keeping an eye on.
So there's a look at the low pressure system that we're keeping our eye on at this point.
I'm gonna send it over to Justin to talk a little bit more about the dynamics of you know tropical systems that can form off of fronts like this.
