Now, in some parts of the U.S.
and North America, we can see some greater warming because overall now the Pacific is so warm and overall we've got more warm air, hot air circulating kind of globally.
But overall...
we look to the winter time for the greatest impact.
So this is actually a good explainer here as well of if you're unfamiliar with exactly the kind of the breakdown of El Nino.
And so in the case of El Nino, we normally have trade winds that push this warm water towards Asia.
Now, in some years, El Nino years, we have a weaker trade wind and actually this warm water can sit a lot farther east.
That is what then changes because this has a domino effect on the atmosphere that changes the pattern and the positioning and the strength of the Pacific jet.
It kind of actually elongates the Pacific jet, which causes a wetter pattern across the South United States, across Mexico.
But this is looking to the winter time.
So no direct impacts for necessarily for our afternoon storms.

What we've been talking about here locally is that we could have kind of used some of the rain here in the Tampa Bay area from Arthur, where it kind of got maybe a little wash of it in the wake of Arthur, but...
you know it i will always this is something i'll always harp on because you make a great point uh of that this is mother nature doing what mother nature needs to do this is uh all stemming from the core of what weather is which is this differential heating across the globe and the planet the atmosphere trying to reach equilibrium and so
