I wanted to show you first the spaghetti model plots because this has been the trend through the last few days of hugging the North Coast.

And the forecast comb for the National Hurricane Center is reflecting the kind of consensus from most of the forecast models that Bertha's gonna try to hold on to the energy of the Gulf and those really warm sea surface temperatures.

So we'll be kind of on the uh lookout for whether or not Bertha

rolls on shore into areas like New Orleans and eastern Louisiana through tomorrow and into Thursday.

Either way though, we're gonna be talking about then that elevated wind shear, the really strong wind shear sneaking in pretty much behind Bertha that's gonna try to get all wrapped up here in Bertha through the next 24, 48 hours, which is going to inhibit the organization.

It's gonna inhibit the attempt

At staying strong, let alone strengthening.

So that's why, which we'll take a look at here, uh Bertha looks to get even more lopsided and actually get kind of stretched out.

I think that land interaction as well as then the wind shear is all what's going to help unravel the storm through Thursday.

And then especially by Friday, here you see in the European model, we're left behind with really nothing, just kind of this trough of elongated low pressure.

So then taking a look just at the graph that also reflects the unraveling of Bertha, that still kind of lopsided nature of the storm, and then completely dissipating by Thursday, then leading into the early part of Friday.

So that was the storm surge potential that map unfortunately didn't want to load in.

So I'm gonna jump ahead here then to the kind of overview of the season.

Uh, where we're what, just about on time with Bertha in terms of when we normally see our second storm.

You know, looking at this, because you look at the spaghetti model plots, you know, these are these are moving at the same time, the the wind shear forecast and the spaghetti model plots, like it could it could try to stay out ahead of the worst of the shear, um, which you know will play a big role in whether or not the shear hasn't enough impact.

I think it will have some impact, but um
