I see that a big time in in late elementary and middle school, um, because late elementary is when we start projects.
So now we have to take this big project that's due, you know, two months later, and we have to break it down into steps, right?
And break it down into parts, and we have to be able to not only chunk that out, but then we have to be able to look at a calendar and time manage that.
How when am I going
gonna do what of these activities, right?
And so then these a lot of times kids will be like, you know, they're the like two nights before it's due.
It's like, I have this project that's due.
I have to get it all done.
And it was really like, you know, six-week project.
And with our with our gifted kiddos, they're perfectionists.
So they are going to want to do incredible work in detail around it.
And incredible work in detail that maybe isn't even necessary for the project, right?
Because there's a lot of I don't really know how to prioritize.
I make everything.
I this is this is a big thing I'm working on with
several of my kids where they they have some major anxiety because their homework load is really large.
And it's not that their homework load is super large, it's that that they do every single assignment at a hundred and fifty percent.
And they don't know how to say, Oh, this is a five point assignment and I'm only doing this.
you know, oh, I wanna do this and then I wanna do this and oh wait a minute, maybe I should go research that thing, right?
And they make it, they just grow it bigger and bigger and bigger.
