So now Asher is twenty six.
He's uh he's a partner in an online marketing company and Rashi's twenty-three, he's a computer programmer, and my daughter Shirielle is twenty, she's a sophomore at Stanford, majoring in American studies.
And I have to say that we've had our share of sibling conflicts when they were little, uh, but now they all get along very well.
They call each other just to check in and they you know, they give each other's advice and support and they even like to come home.

A friend of mine put me in touch with another mom of a a child who had a similar di similar sort of profile to my second son when he was much younger and uh and her child was older and she was telling me that
her son followed a very di different developmental path than most of the kids his age and, you know, she went through many moments wondering, you know, will they ever get to a point where he can be more independent?
Will you know, how how what will the future look like?
She was trying to paint a a a hopeful picture to me and I remember thinking, Well, she just really doesn't know because nobody really knows.
