So in the book, you know, when the disastrous first proposal, you don't really get Darcy's point of view of what happens after the proposal.

Like you don't see him suffering and you don't see the angst.

Yeah, nothing.

But in the adaptations, I think you get a glimpse of it.

And I'm like, I want that in the book.

And so all the scenes where I was just like, oh, I want some more Darcy scenes, I wrote it into Behind Five Wiggles.

I would say it is the letters.

So when I was writing this book, initially they were not pen pals.

And so I was trying to make them fall in love.

And it felt very insta-lovey.

Because I'm not Jane Austen.

I couldn't really write a convincing Mr. Darcy, seeing Elizabeth's pretty eyes and falling for him.

When I read it, I'm like, this is so insta-lovey.

So I thought like, oh, what if I make them form this really deep friendship even before they meet?

And so they're practically in love.

before they meet because of these letters, over a hundred letters they're exchanging.

But then when they meet in person, they don't know that they're each other's pen pals and they have really bad first impressions of each other.

And yeah, I love that I could kind of build their friendship early on before even chapter one began.

So I used to work at the library and I think working there and seeing the work that librarians do, libraries are not just about, you know, lending out books.

I've seen librarians like help seniors access information on the Internet.
