So from a pure entertainment factor, the spectacle of the event, the crowd, the build-up, all of the marketing around it, the media attention that it gets, I think it's
certainly helps us, helps rugby league and helps, you know, people remember that the Melbourne storm and rugby league is a, is a big game and a big sport and a big code.
And, uh, hopefully that translates to more people coming along to watch the Melbourne storm.
I think that we've built some really good equity in the game here.
Uh, obviously the,
You know, the NRL likes to look at how they can use the code and the, and this particular event to showcase the sport globally.
And there's clearly commercial opportunities to do that.
And, you know, they've been to Perth and, uh, the game at Eden Park is going to be pretty special as well over in New Zealand.
So certainly don't begrudge them for that, but I'd certainly also encourage Visit Victoria and the state government to continue to look at investing in the State of Origin game at the MCG, because I think it's pretty special.
They're very, very clearly with Queensland, Gerard.
Frank Panese and Craig Bellamy won't be happy with me for that.
But I think with Billy Slater as coach and Cameron and Harry and Trent all playing for Queensland and being Victorian, I think we've got to go for Queensland.
Yeah, there's nothing like an origin series to just kick him into gear.
So he's been great.
He was great for us from a club point of view as well in the last couple of weeks.
So it's nice to see him return to some form that clearly has helped us on the field from a leadership point of view, as well as obviously what he's able to actually do on the field.
And he loves the big occasion.
And I think Billy Slater really does know how to bring out the best in him.
