Like, everybody works so closely with Craig.

As you said, he's been such a pivotal figure in the club's fabric and DNA for such a long period of time.

He's so loved and respected by everybody.

You know, whether you're an administration staff member, whether you're Cameron Munster or whether you're one of his assistant coaches, there's a great respect for everything that he does and the way he treats people within the organisation.

So...

you know when someone of his caliber um you know communicates the news which is so heartbreaking to see it is felt across the whole club um but footy clubs are also great environments to be in when you get delivered that type of news and um there's you know everyone across the whole organization has wrapped our arms around craig around wendy and rachel and aaron the kids

because he deserves that, but it's been really difficult for everybody.

So there's an overriding sense of genuine care for Craig and wanting to make sure that whatever happens in the short, medium and long-term future, it's in the best interest of Craig and his family.

What is the degree of uncertainty like?

Well, that's one of the biggest challenges of something like this in that we don't actually know exactly what that future looks like.

We've had advice from specialists and Craig's had this advice that it's not impacting his ability to coach the football team in the short term.

And I've seen that.

Frank Panisi mentioned it post-game on Friday night, his passion, energy, commitment.

to the team, to coaching, to the players, to the football club has not wavered one bit and we have not seen one sign of this impacting his ability to do that.

In terms of what the future looks like though, that is the great unknown and we're still waiting and Craig's still going through a whole series of testing and I don't want to talk too much about what his private health processing looks like but

It's fair to say that this is uncharted territory.

We don't know exactly with clarity what the future looks like just at this point in time, other than to say that we're giving him all the care and support that he needs.

And he's still coaching to the best of his absolute ability.

And we're going to wrap our arms around him and give him all the support he needs to continue coaching the team.
