And I explain it's because I don't want to see fucking foreigners and I want I want people to assume that I can speak the language and when you're in Tokyo, it's almost like there's this not just that there's this gigantic expat community of people who all speak English, it's that if you look non-ethnically Japanese, people will just hand you a fork and a dunce cap.

People aren't really listening when you speak to them.

They're just going through the same emotions they will go through with the last twenty people who look just like you.
