The reunions were always great, and the Kings did a fantastic job putting it on because not a lot of teams do what they do, so the Kings are a class act.

Um, you just, I mean, listen, you just can't say enough good things about guys like that.
Um, just true competitors, but great teammates and great people, you know, uh, it's, it's, it's no surprise that guys like that, um, get the respect that they deserve when they're leaving, you know, standing ovations, just guys tipping their caps and just appreciative of the players.
They were the competitors, the competitors they were, but also just the people that they are.
And, um,
You know, they're going to have a great time in retirement.
There's a lot of good life left to live, but they're leaving with a lot of great memories and a great legacy.

I mean, you, you know, as a young player, you want to,
And as an organization, you want to surround yourself with good people.
You want to surround yourself with talented people as well.
So, I mean, he encapsulates both those things, and I'm sure he'll do a great job, you know, as kind of I've gotten later in life.
And, you know, my career is, you know, almost five years out of the league now.
So it's been a long time, and you take a little bit more time
more admiration for helping younger players and seeing them develop and knowing that you were once in that position as well.
So it's fun.
It's rewarding at times to work with young players and see them gain success.
And I'm sure Jonathan will do the same thing.
