So saying yes to the joy purchases that fit your plan and help you hit your financial goals.
So we don't want to derail your progress from paying off debt or building up a really robust emergency fund, creating sinking funds for various expenses.
We want to be able to say, yes, I'm going to enroll my kid in the soccer team.
And also, we're going to do it in a really practical way.
We don't need to be involved in a traveling soccer team that –
going across states in order to compete.
We can do that here locally.
That's a way that we're still supporting our child in their activity.
And we're also keeping those financial priorities top of mind because what I tell my coaching clients all the time is what we're doing right now in paying off the debt and creating the emergency fund savings, this is all temporary.
This is not a land of permanence.
This is something that we are temporarily getting through and we can make this as long or as short of a journey as we want to.
You can make this a marathon or you can make it a sprint and that's your choice.
There's going to be life events and factors that come into play, such as kids' activities, for example.
And being able to turn that around and say, yes, we are going to keep them involved.
And also, we're going to make sure this debt is the priority because once we get that paid off, there's so much more we can do financially for our children.
Yeah.
I was about to say I'm 37 and I'm literally going to hang out with my mom this Friday.
And like we're getting our nails done.
Like that just – it continues.
The relationship does continue.
