But I think like the emotional side of things also when we're thinking about, oh, we only have these 18 summers.
We want to give them the best childhood memories.
Yeah.
I'm curious.
The thought process there, I'm curious about what your own childhood experience was like growing up with money and what money stories you've been carrying into adulthood and now providing for your own family.
So you may have grown up with different money beliefs that are both good and bad.
I can think back to some of the money stories that I had as a kid.
And one of the things was that my parents told me was credit card debt is bad.
You have to work really hard for money.
And there's good and bad things, right?
Credit card debt, yes, bad.
High interest rate is going to
keep you stuck in payments.
But this idea of you have to work really hard for money that I've got to put in at least 40 hours a week, 50 hours a week, and really just grind it out in order to make a modest income, I challenge that as an adult to say, well, that's not true all of the time.
And here's why.
Because I've seen examples in my own life and in my own network where people are making
far more money with far less hours.
So if there's this idea that you can work less and make more money, then this belief that I had as a child isn't necessarily true.
And so I'm curious for those listening, what stories have you told yourself about money and how did you grow up learning about money as a kid that you're bringing into adulthood?
And what are some of those negative things that you'd like to release and let go of?
