I wanted to talk in person again.

My producer Eric and I had always planned to make a second visit to Quinnetta in Texas.

It had been easy the first time around, so we didn't anticipate any issues when we made the request.

When I protested, they threatened to revoke my ability to ever talk to her.

She faced the possibility of more time in solitary for the fake charges.

So on some level, I was always waiting for them to do something like that again.

But even if we couldn't see Quinnetta.

T D C J had said I could still write to her.

And Quinetta was still able to call me.

So at least we could keep talking.
