Growing up, I mean, I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada is where I ended up going to high school.

And Vegas is a melting pot.

You've been there many times.

We had the Filipino group, the Persians.

My dad's Middle Eastern, by the way.

He's Iranian.

The Latinos, black, white, everything.

And so we would make fun of each other, especially if you're in sports.

You make fun of each other.

Then you go into...

Well, then you go into, you know, the acting camp of Los Angeles and these are all the theater kids from all over the world coagulating in one space going, no, no.

They never competed with each other.

They never made fun of the black guy in the locker room.

They never, you know, tease the Persian guy.

So to them, this is all hate crimes and they don't want to hear this type of humor.

And this is what I grew up on.

Yeah, my Iranian father, Baba June, was on the other side of gambling.

He was a pit boss, and he made sure that you got at least a buffet after you lost a lot of your money.

So he always told me-

He said, do not gamble.
