what the stakes are with this stuff you know like how when I've received as much as I have from reading a novel in a time in my life when I felt so isolated so alone or so disconnected so cut off and I've been able to reintegrate my myself back into this world through learning something you know either it's through fiction or maybe it's through non-fiction or maybe it's just through like hearing the right song at the right time and it brings me back to life like because of that
I have this huge respect to the craft and I suppose I just want to get better at it.
So it's not really even about like... The instruction isn't for me to go deeply into the most traumatic things I've ever experienced and tell them to you, the reader.
That's not the instruction.
The instruction is go deeply in.
Make sure you remember how important this is and give it its due.
Give it its ritual significance.
This for me is...
extremely important in my life.
It's my life force and I feel a deep debt to the craft and I just want to do my best to be a good craftsperson and take it seriously.
They're just a beautiful person.
They're just a beautiful, beautiful person who has been away for a long time and is coming home to a place that's changed and they're trying to find
They're trying to find their way back to life and their way back to connection and to love and desire and body and family.
They're a sweetheart, you know, they're a sweet-hearted person.
The primary concern of Rofco when we meet them is like, what am I doing?
