I appreciate the job y'all are doing with everything that you're presenting here.
And
I was hoping to bring up like an old thing that was brought up a long, long time ago by different folks even.
Okay.
And so like one of the things we need to have is campaign finance reform.
I mean, I think most everybody agrees with that by now.
And there was a push once upon a time to amend the constitution, not by having the states propose the amendment instead of Congress proposing the amendment.
And I remember Sam pushing back, saying that that was way too dangerous because we couldn't trust the Republicans.
And, you know, all the things that they said we were going to lose, voters' rights, we were going to lose civil rights, we were going to lose abortion rights, we were going to lose, you know, all these different things.
And I'm kind of trying to figure out, maybe we should go back and try amending the Constitution, you know what I mean, to overturn Citizens United.
So I understand that argument.
And I don't really need to hash it out right here, but I want to bring it up because I think that's an important discussion to have.
